The Robot Shotpeen VC Lance is a semi-automatic shotblasting machine designed for shotpeening shafts, gears and other components. This process increases the surface hardness and improves the fatigue resistance of the material. The machine is suitable for alumina F180-220 as shot peening media and can be operated either manually or automatically.
The workpiece is placed on a rotating table and the blast nozzle can be operated manually or automatically. For automatic mode, a frequency-controlled manipulator moves the nozzle vertically along the workpiece, while the rotary table rotates for even treatment. The abrasive is blown onto the workpiece at high speed via a pressure system, after which it is collected and cleaned via a cyclone separator and a PAT-JET cartridge filter. The machine is controlled via a Siemens PLC with touchscreen, which allows adjustment of blast pressure, nozzle movement and rotation speed, among other things.
